Who is this course for?

This course is designed for individuals who wish to become school mediators, playing a key role in facilitating relationships between the school, family, and community, while supporting children's access to and participation in compulsory education.

 
Responsibilities and duties of a school mediator:

  • Facilitating dialogue between the school, family, and community;

  • Contributing to maintaining mutual respect between the school and the community;

  • Monitoring preschool children who are not enrolled in kindergarten and assisting families in this process;

  • Tracking school-age children who do not attend compulsory education and proposing solutions for their reintegration;

  • Collecting statistical data on access to education and keeping children in the educational system;

  • Preventing school dropout through active monitoring and support;

  • Mediating conflicts between families, communities, and schools;

  • Assisting parents, teachers, and students in overcoming educational barriers;

  • Promoting cultural values and organizing multicultural activities;

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of school desegregation plans;

  • Reporting violations of children's rights to the authorities.
