Information on Registration for Romanian Language Testing


The Romanian language test is designed for foreign individuals who wish to certify their Romanian language skills at an official level, in accordance with European standards. Upon completing the test, participants will receive a Certificate of Linguistic Competence issued by the Romanian Ministry of Education, which attests to their level of Romanian language proficiency. This certificate is recognized both in Romania and internationally and can be used to prove language skills for professional, educational purposes, or to obtain a visa or residency in Romania.

 

 

Conditions:

  • Eligibility: Participants must be foreign nationals.

  • Levels: Testing is available for all language proficiency levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

  • Required Documents: A valid identification document is necessary (Residence Permit, Passport, or Birth Certificate translated into Romanian).

  • Preparation: Candidates should have completed a course in line with the Methodology for Teaching Romanian to Foreigners and possess a minimum level of Romanian language knowledge. However, beginners are also welcome to register.

 

Additional details:

  • After taking the exam, participants will receive their results within 7-10 business days.

  • The Certificate of Linguistic Competence will be issued within 30-60 days, depending on the availability of diplomas from the Ministry of Education.
