Digital skills

 

The Digital Skills course offers you the opportunity to acquire basic competencies in the field of ICT, and the Graduation Certificate provided by the Ministry of Labor is nationally recognized, as well as in any EU country. The course is aimed at both young people and adults who want to improve their computer skills.

After completing the final exam, students will receive certificates of completion for the occupation "Digital Skills in Using Information Technology as a Tool for Learning and Knowledge" along with descriptive supplements to confirm the skills acquired during the course.

Duration: 1.5 months

 

 

DIGITAL SKILLS COURSE STRUCTURE

 

  1. MICROSOFT WORD Text Editor

    • Document formatting. Formatting characters (fonts and styles, symbols). Paragraph formatting (alignment, spacing, page breaks, column splitting, using the Change Case option, applying borders, inserting footers, etc.). Page formatting (setting margins, page orientation Portrait/Landscape, page numbering, inserting headers/footers, page break separators). Common text operations: copy, move, delete, undo an operation. Practical applications.

    • Tables. Creating a table. Modifying a table (adding/removing rows and columns). Using the Split Cells and Merge Cells options. Setting row/column/table sizes; equalizing rows/columns. Table formatting (applying borders/background). Auto-formatting tables. Aligning data in tables. Changing writing direction. Sorting data in tables. Single (one field)/multiple (multiple fields). Practical applications.

    • Printing a document. Practical applications.

  2. MICROSOFT EXCEL

    • Excel databases. Sorting data. Single (one field)/multiple (multiple fields)/special sorting.

    • Automatic filtering of data (extracting records that meet certain conditions). Simple/custom filters.

    • Search and automatic replacement of data (search/replace options). Practical applications.

    • Using formulas and functions. Creating and modifying a formula. Using mathematical operators in formulas (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentage). Writing common functions (SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, etc.). Practical applications.

    • Working with worksheets. Insert, rename, delete, reorder, copy, move. Locking rows/columns; displaying/hiding rows and columns; Formatting worksheets. Practical applications.

    • Printing worksheets. Page setup (page orientation, adding a header/footer, page numbering). Inserting a page break. Setting print area. Practical applications.

  3. MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

    • Creating presentations/working with slides. Formatting presentations (background/text/images/diagrams/organograms). Using templates to format presentations. Inserting notes and footnotes into slides. Using the master slide device. Practical applications.

    • Adding animations to slides.

    • Applying transitions. Practical applications.

  4. INTERNET AND COMMUNICATION

    • Using a browser and a search engine. Practical applications. Creating a message, sending, forwarding, and deleting a message.

    • Using an email account. Practical applications. Creating a message, sending, forwarding, and deleting a message.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:

  • Copy of ID card/passport/residence permit;

  • Copy of the birth certificate (if not in English, German, Italian, or Spanish, it must be legally translated into Romanian);

  • Copy of the marriage certificate (only if changing the name);

  • Copy of the latest educational qualification.
